I've merched a few things over the years that I would rather not have ... back in "the day" I merched my perf. Fellblade. I farmed my ass off to pimp that silly bastard out. I yelled at the computer when it happened & my husband laughed at me.

This was sometime around late 2005 or early 2006 ... I don't remember, exactly, as I think I've tried to block the memory.

My hubby, on the other hand, was hacked recently & lost multiple sets of FoW armor, a bunch of high end weapons, all of his minis, mats, keys, plat, etc.. Rather than laugh at him, I've taken over the composition of his support emails & am helping him prepare to (if necessary) launch a lawsuit for breaching his rights under the consumer protection act.

Anyone else in Ontario (or Canada in general - especially you New Brunswick people, you're CP laws are awesome) feel free to join in!

Got hacked so lost alot.
But the things that mattered were two sets of elite armor, My stormbow which I had had for 4 years. I didn't care if it was in style or whatever it had sentimental value. My mini Prince Rurik. It was my very first mini and how happy I was to get him. Stolen too

Sure there were other things and an empty bank but those mattered the most to me.

I just tried to log into my account today for the first time in 6 months to find it banned permanantly, it must have been hijacked.

I had an unded Oni, unded Beetle and 2 unded Grawls on this account + ALOT of other valuable stuff.

I've contacted support but I'm fairly confident they will do sweet f**K all about it.

It'll learn me to look when I am NPCing stuff.

Have lost some gold and a few good items when deleting a char though. Normally I clear them out, npc the armor and such, before deleting them.

Oh, a couple of festival hats, thanks to deleting the character before the Festival Hat Maker came in, and being unable to replicate them cause you need that character

Last year I decided I needed to stop gaming for a while because I was close to graduating in university...

Not very much at all. I have accidentally deleted a few low-level PvE chars before stripping them, but nothing major. I am pretty careful about what I delete. I usually check PvP chars for zkeys etc.

I really haven't lost all that much.

I've salvaged 3 or 4 set's of 15k over the years due to chest pieces breaking trying to remove superior vig's then just destroying the rest of the set out of anger.

I sold a q9 eaglecrest axe to the merchant not to long ago right after it dropped from the zchest, didn't know they were something of value at the time.

I also merched a -2/-2 shadow shield, but that was a long time ago.

They don't drop from zchest but w/e.

I delete a pvp char to reroll for HA but forgot to remove 120zkeys i had just bought the night before

I'm not looking to start a meaningless arguement but it defintely did. It came out while I was using a bunch of RRday keys, I specifically remember equipping and looking at the skin with my warrior, asking in GtoB for a price quote and no one answered so I merched it. Just because it hasn't been reported and tracked in the wiki don't mean it doesn't happen.

CC's, demonic/draconic aegis' have all been confirmed to come outta the chest, I don't see why you'd think none of the other design-a-weapons can't drop.

And even if I am somehow mistaken this threads about lost stuff i still merched it either way.

I've deleted a pvp char with a stack of zkeys on it after trading in a bunch of rp's, aside from that I'm pretty good at holding onto things.

On the hours played topic I'm with the opinion that provided you enjoyed spending those hours playing a game then every single one is time well spent.
